Volunteers needed for Summer Lunch Program

Summer Lunch Volunteers Wanted The Faith Alliance's annual Summer Lunch Program will run May 26-August 5 and volunteers are needed each week at three community sites. Volunteers will help distribute Lakota lunches, talk with the children, read books and/or assist with simple activities. No experience or special skills needed. Distributions at Lakota Pointe, across the street from Royal Redeemer, will take place on Mondays & Thursdays from 11:55am-12:35pm (40 minutes). Running for Family Promise

Please join us for the Dot Dash 5K to support the Family Promise of Butler County! The race is located at Marcum Park in Hamilton, and takes place in-person and virtually on Saturday, June 12 at 8:30AM. If you are unable to run or walk the race, but would still like to be involved, volunteer opportunities are available. To prepare for the Dot Dash 5K, everyone is welcome to join us at Royal Redeemer on Tuesdays at 5:45pm, and Rentschler Forest MetroPark on Saturdays at 7:00am to run or walk. Following the Dot Dash 5K, we will continue to meet weekly to run/walk and participate in quarterly local races. We’ll also offer training plans to set goals and maintain consistency. Most importantly, we will enjoy fellowship while building our physical fitness! All speeds are welcome! What does our history teach us?
There are essentially two ways to live:
- a life with God at the center.
- a life with anything else at the center.
To put God in the center is to continually ask this question: what does love require?
