Mission Hills Church
Mother's Day Weekend 2021
The story of Noah's ark may be the most familiar and possibly one of the most misunderstood stories in the whole Bible. Hollywood has corrupted it and the church has made it cute. But in between these two extremes, there are powerful lessons for trusting God even when the world thinks you're crazy.

Welcome to Mission Hills!
Mission Hills is a church family—a family who wants to extend to you the same love, hope, and joy that we have received. We know that we cannot be all things to all people. But we do want to be one thing to all people. We want to be the place where anyone, of any age, of any level of spiritual maturity, of any economic class, of any ethnicity, of any church background—or no church background—can meet God in a way that transforms their life…forever!

If you are a first time guest, we would love to meet you! Stop by the Welcome Center for a free gift.
BELIEF: the greatest contribution a woman can make to the world is having and raising great kids.
Jesus says your highest calling isn’t to have kids, it’s to hear the word of God and obey it.
Jesus isn’t refusing to honor his mom, he’s insisting on honoring her for the right reasons.
The “Word of God” isn’t a message to hear, it’s a mission to accept.
A woman’s greatest contribution to the world is living on-mission with God.

Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. Blessed is the one whose quiver is full of them. (Psalms 127:4-5)
God says raising a child is an act of war!
As followers of Jesus, our mission is to wage war against hatred, injustice, apathy and lies.
Raising kids is how we carry the fight into the future.
Our greatest contribution to the world is living on-mission with Jesus in whatever mission-field he calls us.
So what does it look like to live on mission as a mom?

1. See your sacrifices as an act of worship.

2. Don’t make your kids the center of your world.

3. Do make Jesus the center of your world.

4. Pray missional prayers every day.

5. Look for opportunities to honor God in non-traditional ways.

6. Remember that who you are isn’t defined by this moment.
