Today we are concluding our current sermon series, “The Recovery Room.” We have been addressing healing from all the trauma that the last year has induced. This morning we’re going to focus on healing from grief. Senior Associate Pastor Fred Rodkey brings the message this morning centered around Luke 18:35-42.

National Day of Prayer at Chapel Rock
Feel free to stop by the Chapel on Thursday, May 6, from 7 a.m. — 7 p.m. (entering at door #16) to spend as much time informally on your own in prayer. We will have the National Day of Prayer Guides available as you enter the Chapel. There will be a corporate time of prayer led by Pastor Fred Rodkey starting at 7 p.m., in the Worship Center (entering at door #1). Learn more and pray for each other at chapelrock.org/NDP.
Graduate Recognition Sunday
High school and college graduates, we are excited to celebrate your graduation with you as you finish strong this semester. Sunday, May 23, is our Graduate Recognition Sunday. Please register ASAP at chapelrock.org/events and email a current photo to Nick Wilkes at nwilkes@chapelrock.org.
Indy Junior Golf Clinics and Camp
Indy Junior Golf will again this summer offer a golf clinic and camp at Thatcher Golf Course. The clinic dates are May 8 and 15, from 10:30 a.m.—12 p.m. The camp will take place throughout June, from 10 a.m.—12 p.m. For additional information or to register, go to christian-endeavors.com or call Gene Robertson at 317-417-8001.
Family Ministry Service Project
The date for the Rapha Restoration service project was postponed due to weather. The service project will take place this Saturday, May 8, and the Nehemiah Ranch project is still scheduled for May 15. These projects are designed for families with elementary-aged kids or younger. Chapel Rockets Events
Thursday, May 6, is the monthly luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Please bring your own lunch and drink. Pastor Greg Locke will be our guest speaker. A love offering will be taken. Guests and visitors are welcome. Please enter at door #3.
Movie Day will be May 13, at 1 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. Please bring your own movie snack and drink.
Walk and Talk will be Wednesday, May 26, at 1 p.m. in Connection Corner.
A New Look at Jesus
It’s still not too late to join us for The Chosen series. The Chosen is the first-ever-multi-season show about the life of Jesus. See Jesus through the eyes of those who knew him—believers, adversaries, relatives, and apathetic bystanders—in a first century setting. Join us on Friday evenings from 7 to 9:30 p.m. on May 7, 14, and 21. Enter at door #10. Enjoy refreshments, discussion, and fellowship during intermission too. Hosts will be Ned and Patsy Phillips, Dan and Dorota Laskowski, and Larry and Debbie McLoed.
Operation Christmas Child
Keep your eyes open for toys on sale! We are collecting the MAIN toy for OCC shoeboxes for the month of May which can include many types of items: socks, underwear, even t-shirts and ball caps! We need sizes 2 - 14, both boys and girls. Please keep your eyes open for sale items on these and ANY items we can put in a shoebox this fall! God bless you. Questions? Homeless Camps
The Man Up men’s group can use help with items for their trips to the homeless camps. For the spring season, please consider donating baby wipes, blankets, candles, disposable razors, deodorant, and small flashlights, Items can be placed in the DropZone bin located in the Foyer.

Mike and Judy Weddle on the birth of their granddaughter, Phoebe Anne Weddle, born on April 29. Phoebe is 6 lbs. 1 oz. and 19 inches. Parents are Grant and Carrie Weddle.
Communion
Chapel Rock practices an 'open communion' meaning that if you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, then you are welcome to participate in the communion service. The elder/staff member giving the devotion will provide instructions.

- Don't just enjoy your healing, follow the Healer.
