THE SOCIAL OUTCAST - John 4:7-30, 39-42
Do you ever feel like you don’t belong? Are you an outsider in many settings? Do you ever sense that you are a social outcast? Jesus met a lonely, social outcast in John chapter 4 and gave her His plan for acceptance and joy. Her life might be your life. And Jesus’ words to her are words for you.

• Worship is about who you worship, not where you worship
• Worship must be based on truth
• Worship must have a true connection
III. Offer life and belonging to others- vv. 27-30, 39- 42
• Help more people follow Jesus
Bottom Line: Delight in true life through true worship of the only true Lord.

7. What does it mean to worship “in spirit”? How well do you do that? How will you seek to improve?

8. Why should we share the news of life and belonging with other people? How do we go about sharing?

9. What is the primary message that Jesus was communicating to the social outcast through their conversation? How will you respond to this message?
