ECC-Evangelical Covenant Church
Finding Our Way Home
Happy Easter! We are glad you are with us today. We believe that Jesus not only forgives us and makes a way for us to know him, but he transforms us and renews the image of God within us, then sends us out into the world. We hope you'll join us next week as we begin a new series on what that looks like. We worship together each Sunday morning at 10:30am on Facebook, YouTube, or in person.

Easter Sunday
Stacey Littlefield, Lead Pastor
Write your main take away from this week's sermon below:
Questions to ponder.
What comes to mind when you think of "home"? Are they good thoughts or memories or difficult ones? Why?
Questions to ponder.
In what ways do Jesus' words in John 14.1-7 bring you comfort? Even if they are not specifically or only about where we go when we die? Where is the good news in Jesus' plan to prepare a place for us?
Questions to ponder.
What other passages in the New Testament do you think draw on the imagery of the Exodus or that of the people of God in their return from Exile in Babylon?
Questions to ponder.
In what ways have you experienced Exile in the past year? What does "coming home" look like to you when you consider the past year or so?
Prayer for Easter Sunday
Almighty God, who through your only-begotten Son Jesus Christ overcame death and opened to us the gate of everlasting life: Grant that we, who celebrate with joy the day of the Lord's resurrection, may be raised from the death of sin by your life-giving Spirit; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
