Living
1. The fearful disciples (John 20:19-23)
Their first thought WAS NOT that He was raised from the dead!
Jesus sent (and continues sending) the disciples to testify to the truth in the power of the Holy Spirit.
2. The absent disciple (John 20:24-29)
I will never believe you!
Jesus knew his heart.
Thomas declared his belief and surrendered to Jesus as Lord.
3. The prospective disciples.
You can only encounter the resurrected Christ by going to Him personally.
Romans 6:21-23
According to the Bible, one sin has earned you eternal death.
By His grace, God offers you something you do not deserve - eternal life.
