If you walk into the equipment room for a college football team, you will see LOTS of uniforms, shoes and equipment that helps prepare the team for their task. God left an important task to the church, and today’s message from Acts 2:1-13 pictures the Day of Pentecost as “God’s equipment room.”
Context:
After the early church prayed together constantly and waited on God for ten days, God "showed up" on the Day of Pentecost to equip them for the task He had given them.
