THEME VERSE FOR SERIES

Isaiah 2:3 (MSG) “Come, let’s climb GOD’s Mountain, go to the House of the God of Jacob. He’ll show us the way he works so we can live the way we’re made.”
Discipleship - BECOMING what God made us to become and MAKING what He has called us to Make.

A Christ follower growing in faith skills as they lead others into and through their journey with God.
Men wanted for hazardous journey to the South Pole. Small wages, bitter cold, long months of complete darkness, constant danger. Safe return doubtful. Honor and recognition in case of success.’

Sir Ernest Shackleton - recruiting for trip to South Pole
1. The Creator is always awake
(unlike Baal – Mt. Carmel)

2. The Creator is Lord over time.
Psalm 120:8 the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.

3. The Creator is Lord over all natural and supernatural forces: He made them.
Psalm 120:7 The Lord will keep you from all harm — he will watch over your life;
The promise of the Psalm is not that we shall never stub our toes, but that no injury, no illness, no accident, no distress will have evil power over us…will have no power to separate us form God’s purposes in us.
None of the things that happen to you, none of the troubles you encounter, have any power to get between you and God, dilute his grace in you or divert his will from you.
Faith is a solid, massive, secure experience of God, who keeps all evil from getting inside of us.

He guards our life.
He guards us when we leave and when we return.
He guards us now and guards us always.
Isaiah 2:3 (MSG) “Come, let’s climb GOD’s Mountain, go to the House of the God of Jacob. He’ll show us the way he works so we can live the way we’re made.”
