Review: How do we deal with our past?
1. Confess it
2. Cover it with forgiveness
When we uncover it with confession, He covers it with forgiveness
3. Change it

Six Things God Does With Sin When He Forgives it:
1. He Cleanses It
Isaiah 64:6 - “Our Righteousness is as filthy rags.”
I Peter 1:18-19 - “Know this that we were not redeemed with perishable things like silver and gold… but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ.”
John 1:9 “If We confess our sins He is faithful and just forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
2. He Casts it into the depths of the sea
Micah 7:19
3. He Separates it
Psalm 103:12 - “As far as the East is from the West, so far does He separate our transgressions from Us."
4. He Carries it away
Leviticus 19
Αφιημι=="To Forgive", Literally “To Send Away.”
5. He Cancels the debt
Colossians 2:13-14 "When you were dead in your transgressions and sins...He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven all our transgressions, having cancelled out the certificate of debt...which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it ot the cross."
6. He Condemns it--Romans 8:1-4

Reasons Moses was hung up:
1. His past
2. His potential
Ex. 4:10 – “But Moses said to the LORD, “Oh, my Lord, I am not eloquent, either in the past or since you have spoken to your servant, but I am slow of speech and of tongue.”
Notice: “Lord, I can’t do this!”
Matt. 7:22-23 – “On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’”
Two outcomes for comparing yourself to others:
1. You figure out that you are better than most people, and you get filled with pride.
2. You figure out that you are worse than most people, and you get filled with insecurity.
Truth: “God is not looking for capability, He’s looking for cooperation.”
Acts 17:24-25:
“The God who made the world and everything in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in temples made by man, 25 nor is He served by human hands, as though He needed anything, since he himself gives to all mankind life and breath and everything.”
What did Moses have?
1. His Presence: The Signs
2. His People: Aaron
