ThornCreek Church
Abraham :: Look Up
Have you ever struggled with faith or understanding God’s plan for your life? During these eight weeks we will be looking at a man named, Abraham. Abraham was known as a “Friend of God”, but he was very human as well. He faced the unknown of leaving his hometown, waiting on God, learned to walk by faith, and was asked to do the unthinkable. We can learn much about God and ourselves as we look at Abraham’s life! You will be encouraged that God sees you and loves you. Bring a friend to church!

TC Kids
ThornCreek Children’s Ministry strives to partner with families to raise children in the way of Jesus. It’s our goal for children to be transformed by the love of God, to grow in their walk with God, surrender their lives to God, and be a light in the world for others to know God in the same way.

Our curriculum takes the kids through the Bible in a year and they are invited into The Big God Story to experience it and discover who God is and how they fit into His plan!

We believe that parents have a huge impact on the faith of their children! Every Monday, parents are emailed a Family Bible Study that you can do throughout the week with your kids. We also have a repeating 6-week Spiritual Parenting small group that you can be a part of to learn more about raising your children to know God!

We have classes available each weekend for Infants through 5th grade.

All volunteers have passed background checks and we have security procedures in place to create a safe environment for your kids.
TC Teens
TC Teens Ministry’s mission is to create a safe place for teenagers to encounter Jesus, to ask questions, and to experience the Love God has for them, while ultimately integrating them into the body and mission of Christ.

Encounter | Thursdays 6:30pm-8:00pm @ Mountain States Baptist (3751 Cottonwood Lakes Blvd, Thornton 80241)
Soul Fuel | Sundays 9:30am @ Prairie Hills Elementary School

God has revealed just enough for you to walk by faith.
A contract or agreement between two parties. The spirit of this contract comes from Genesis 15, which involves the cutting of animals and walking through these animals as a sign of a relationship that is enduring and binding.
Timothy Keller
“The problem that so many people in modern society run into is that they want a personal relationship with God, but not a covenantal one. But according to the Bible, that is impossible. God only relates in terms of covenant.”
Before God reveals the next thing, you need to prove yourself in today’s thing.
God calls us to believe Him in the face of impossible circumstances, the unknown future, and our human reason.
The Hebrew term for covenant-making literally means, “to cut a covenant.”
The servant was essentially saying...
“I swear loyalty to you o lord, and if I do not keep my promise, may I be cut into pieces like these animals.”
When Jesus Christ calls you into a covenant relationship he is saying:
I want to marry you. I want you to come into a legally binding, intimate love relationship with me. And you don’t have to be uncertain, because I have already taken the plunge of love. I have already died for you.

“Covenant theology gives you a crunchy God. A God thats real. A God that bites back. A living God, pulling at the other end of the cord, approaching at infinite speed, the hunter, the covenant Lord, the husband. This is our God.”
Enter a covenant relationship with God.
