Whether you are NEW online or visiting one of our campuses, we would love to get a chance to know you.
Conversation Starters help us dig deeper, connecting Sunday’s sermons with our Monday lives. These prompts have been designed to help Community Groups grow in their relationship with God, with one another, and with their neighbors. Please know that these questions are meant to be a resource to you. You do not have to follow them verbatim or get through them all. We trust you to know your group and to ask the questions based on your group needs.

1. In a few words, describe both the rich ruler and the blind beggar.

2. These two men approached Jesus quite differently - discuss the differences between how they addressed Jesus (consider their tact, volume, their emotion). How did their different approaches affect Jesus’ initial response to them?

3. Name an issue or a person in your life who you can pray for with more boldness and desperate humility, like the beggar did about his blindness.

4. How do these stories impact your view of eternal reward? (Read Matthew 16:24-26 to explore this further)

Prayer Requests

As a staff it is a privilege to pray for our congregation. Social distance does not change that! If you are in need of prayer click the link to fill out an online prayer request.
Title: Everything Or Nothing
Scripture: Luke 18: 18-43
Speaker: Gabe Coyle,
"We must mark him now, if we have not done so before, as the most dangerousNegro of the future in this Nation from the standpoint of communism, the Negro and national security." - Chief William Sullivan
"Merriam-Webster’s dictionary defines an obstacle as: - something that makes it difficult to do something- an object that you have to go around or over - something that blocks your path."
>> One of the greatest obstacles to entering Jesus’ kingdom is wealth.
>> The more lavish your own kingdom, the harder it is to enter Jesus’.
>> Don’t let your kingdom stand in the way of entering Jesus’ Kingdom.
"The end of life is not to be happy, nor to achieve pleasure and avoid pain, but to do the will of God, come what may." - Martin Luther King Jr.
>> Jesus will provide MORE in His Kingdom than we’ve sacrificed.
