The Holy Spirit
1. Is the Holy Spirit God? (Acts 5:1-4)
Ananias lied to the Holy Spirit (God).
The Spirit of Christ is the same with the Spirit of God.
We received the Spirit who is from God. (Reference: 1 Corinthians 2:12)
2. Is the Holy Spirit a person?
Forty-six percent of evangelicals believe the Holy Spirit is a force.
If we view the Holy Spirit as a force, “it” moves as a result of our prayer to God; if as a person, we move in His power.
He helps, teaches, guides, intercedes, makes decisions and gives counsel.
3. Where is the Holy Spirit now? (Ephesians 1:13-14)
He seals your salvation and acts as your guarantee.
You are the temple of God because God the Spirit dwells in you.
He regenerates and renews us to live a changed life, giving us gifts to use in service to the Body of Christ.
