About WestWay:
Our mission is simple: we want to proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord. We're growing in three ways: our unity, our purpose and our love. This happens because of the power of the Holy Spirit. God is glorified. Lives are changed. People grow in their relationships with God and with others. We're glad you're here!

What To Expect:

We're currently in Phase 3 of WestWay's "re-gathering" plan. This means we are phasing in areas of ministry. Our Nursery and Wee-Ones area is open on Sunday, and we are slowly re-gathering older age groups on Sundays as 2020 continues. Small groups and Sunday school have begun to meet again. The Body of Christ at WestWay is marked by lots of things, our unity, our giving, and our love. One way we demonstrate our unity is by participating in communion weekly. Join us this week as we talk about how communion unties us.

Acts of the Apostles 2:42-47 NLT

Questions About the Sermon or Anything Else?
Text QUESTION to 308-252-3273 and we will address them in our Tuesday Q&A Facebook Live video on Tuesdays at 11:15. The texts are anonymous to us and the public.
Additional Questions for Your Family, Small Group or in a Bible Study:
Q1: Talk about the role unity plays in the life of the Christian.

Q2: Read Exodus 12, then Mark 14:12-25. What was the Passover meant to celebrate? What does communion celebrate?

Q3: Compare and contrast the church experiences found in Acts 2:42-47 and 1 Corinthians 11:17-34. Be specific! How were they similar? Different? Which church would you rather belong to? Why?

Q4: How can you be a force for unity within our church body? What might this require of you?
About this series
Each January, we spend time talking about who we are as a body of Christ. some of these things set us apart from other churches in the area- like the way we celebrate Communion weekly- and others center us firmly with Christian tradition- like giving and the way we are called to love others.

This year, we've simply named this series "We Are..." Join us!
