1. What does it mean to say that the Gospel welcomes all? Why can the Gospel only be from God and not man? In fact, what is the Gospel message apart from God? Read these verses as you respond: Romans 8:6-9; 1 Corinthians 1:18; 2:12-14; John 3:16; 1 John 4:14.
2. If the Gospel truly welcomes all, what does that imply for your response to people who are different than you are, who may not lead the life you lead, or who may not share your same political or cultural convictions that you share?
3. Does the Gospel exist in a vacuum, meaning, once one comes to faith that is all there is to it? Or is the Gospel something that is daily worked out and built upon in our lives? Read the following passages as you respond: Philippians 1:25, 2:12-13, 3:12-14; 1 Thessalonians 4:1; Hebrews 6:1.
We are a Christ centered community, whose heart is to be a place where individuals are knowing Jesus Christ, growing in Christ, and going out into the world with Christ, in order that lives would be transformed by the gospel and God would be glorified.
