REVIVE CHRISTIAN CHURCH
For centuries, people around the world have asked, “Does God see us? Can He help us through this nerve-racking time?” From cover to cover, the Bible testifies to this fact: God will judge and punish all evil. At times, however, it may appear that evil prospers and wickedness prevails. Evildoers have been battling the church all throughout its existence. Yet in contrast, God’s church has been and will continue to be sustained by the grace of God. Believers should build one another up in Christ and keep themselves in the love of God. The church is to contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints. The gospel message is irrevocable and true. The faithful transmission of the gospel message from one generation to the next is at the heart of the mission of God’s people, and lives are changed everywhere the gospel message is proclaimed. The mercy of God protects those who truly know Christ and sustains them in the gospel message and faithful obedience in the face of outward hostility. Jesus keeps His people from stumbling and will present them faultless one day. Comfort can be found during all of life’s greatest challenges, and there is no better time than right now to seek refuge and find shelter in God. Finding refuge in God is always our safest place. God offers hope in times of uncertainty and relief to people who are experiencing real troubles and fear. The church must persevere, knowing that nothing they face in this world can take away the hope they have in Christ. Truth will prevail. Deception and hypocrisy will be exposed, and will be judged––in God’s time and in God’s way. And the true church will be sustained by the grace of God. Join us Sundays at 10a for Revive Online at https://www.facebook.com/revivebismarck as we lean in together to find ways to worship in times of trouble, experience prayer in pressure, show grace when we are at our wits’ end, and with God’s help, triumph over trouble.

Sunday, November 29th, we are partnering with North Dakota National Guard Family Services in assembling Christmas gift bags for families of deployed NDNG members. Families at home are in need of love and encouragement, especially during the holidays when they are missing their loved ones. The gift bags will be distributed among families throughout Burleigh-, Morton- and other neighboring counties.

We are inviting you to donate the types of things you might expect as stocking stuffer-type gifts (candy, cookies, small toys + games, etc. However, please avoid food items containing nuts.)

Revive will provide the gift bags, while we encourage you to provide notes / cards of love + encouragement and pictures colored by our littlest members. You can use your own coloring sheets, or find some here: http://bit.ly/revivekidsonline.

Candy and other things are nice, but families love knowing their neighbors see that they serve and sacrifice too. Thank you for helping us LIVE OUT LOVE!

Drop-offs or pick-ups of your donations may be scheduled by appointment, and our Team will packing the gift bags next week. E-mail us at hello@revivebismarck.org to schedule your drop-off or to have a Team Member come pick up your donation.

Any inquiries may be directed to Dawna Hagerott at (701) 400-1299.

WEEK SEVEN PRAYER
NOVEMBER 22ND thru 28TH

Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.
— EPHESIANS 6:13

And Jesus answered them, “Truly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ it will happen.
— MATTHEW 21:21

THE PRAYER
Heavenly Father, for many weeks we have been living under the constant threat of COVID-19. Bombarded by bad news and sequestered in our homes, we have faced deep concerns and even the imminent possibility of sickness and financial hardship. There have been days we have struggled to stand in faith. Still, by Your power and grace, we rise up.

We put on our spiritual armor today through faith in Jesus Christ. We pray against COVID-19 by the Word of God and through the strength of the Holy Spirit. We resist all the effects of COVID-19 on us, our families, churches, cities, and nations.

This virus has loomed over the nations of the world and has reached every aspect of society. Despite these challenges, we stand before COVID-19 and declare, “Our God is able to deliver us!”

We ask, oh God, that by Your great mercy, COVID-19 will be eradicated—that we will soon see it gone and reduced to nothing.

Heavenly Father, increase our faith. Work in our hearts. Produce in us, oh God, Your character. You have shown us Your mercy and grace countless times. We are thankful and humbly ask for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the peoples of the world. May countless millions be saved and discipled as your church boldly proclaims the Gospel in this critical hour.

THIS IS OUR PRAYER AND CONFIDENCE THROUGH THE MIGHTY POWER OF JESUS CHRIST, OUR LORD. AMEN.
