The purpose of this devotional is to help prepare you for the celebration of the birth of Jesus. You may do this as your own quiet time, but we would encourage you to gather some family or loved ones to go through it together.

We see at the beginning, God creates light out of darkness, life out of nothing in the blink of an eye. God creates all sorts of incredible creatures on the earth and in the sea. And He creates us, mankind in His image and likeness. We see here that mankind is special to God over all other creatures. They are set apart and God-breathed. We see also that God loves man so much that He created a helper for him. God created

the unity of one-flesh to bring glory and honor to His name. As God’s handiwork, we proclaim the name of our Father in order to have fellowship with the one who created us.

As you enter this advent season. Take some time to stop and reflect on God’s goodness as your creator. Take time to realize how special you are to Him and spend time in fellowship with Him today.
