Mission Hills Church
Reckless | The Pursuer
We’re all reckless in our own way, whether in the embrace of counterfeit happiness or a dependence on our own ability to be “good enough." Fortunately God cares so little about the cost of loving us that he is willing to pursue us in whichever far country we have made our home.

Welcome to Mission Hills!
Mission Hills is a church family—a family who wants to extend to you the same love, hope, and joy that we have received. We know that we cannot be all things to all people. But we do want to be one thing to all people. We want to be the place where anyone, of any age, of any level of spiritual maturity, of any economic class, of any ethnicity, of any church background—or no church background—can meet God in a way that transforms their life…forever!

If you are a first time guest, we would love to meet you! Stop by the Welcome Center for a free gift!

Sign up to be a project leader this weekend!

Love in Action

Love in Action is about transforming lives by mobilizing the people of God to serve our community. When we serve in our neighborhoods, we not only share the transforming power of the good news, but we also become more like Jesus. This year, we won't have our normal worship services on Saturday and Sunday, October 13 + 14 - instead, we'll be the church as we serve our community—one life at a time. We still need project leaders - sign up in the lobby this weekend, or email Tony Durkin at tdurkin@missionhills.org!

If God knew that we would sin, why did He create us in the first place?
What is God’s ultimate goal?
God’s ultimate goal is children who choose to work with Him, not slaves who have to work for Him.
God’s ultimate goal is children who choose to work with him, not slaves who have to work for Him.
God’s ultimate goal is impossible without relationship.
Trust comes from being convinced that God is good.
If someone gives us good when we aren’t good, that means they are good.
Only those who have experienced grace can be truly convinced that God is good.
God’s grace convinces us of His goodness…which is the foundation of our endless relationship with Him.
It was the older brother’s job to find his lost younger brother and bring him home.
God expects His children to be on mission with Him, rescuing our lost brothers and sisters.
They were too disgusted by the lost to mount an effective rescue operation.
Jesus is the older brother each of us so desperately needs.
Jesus is the perfect picture of the older brother we are called to be.
God invites us to know His goodness and to make His goodness known.
Do I need to take a step towards knowing that God is good or towards making His goodness known?
