We’re all reckless in our own way, whether in the embrace of counterfeit happiness or a dependence on our own ability to be “good enough." Fortunately God cares so little about the cost of loving us that he is willing to pursue us in whichever far country we have made our home.
Mission Hills is a church family—a family who wants to extend to you the same love, hope, and joy that we have received. We know that we cannot be all things to all people. But we do want to be one thing to all people. We want to be the place where anyone, of any age, of any level of spiritual maturity, of any economic class, of any ethnicity, of any church background—or no church background—can meet God in a way that transforms their life…forever!
If you are a first time guest, we would love to meet you! Stop by the Welcome Center for a free gift!
Love in Action is about transforming lives by mobilizing the people of God to serve our community. When we serve in our neighborhoods, we not only share the transforming power of the good news, but we also become more like Jesus. This year, we won't have our normal worship services on Saturday and Sunday, October 13 + 14 - instead, we'll be the church as we serve our community—one life at a time. We still need project leaders - sign up in the lobby this weekend, or email Tony Durkin at firstname.lastname@example.org!
Discovering God is for people who are curious about God, have a new relationship with Jesus Christ, or are returning to church after being away for a while. If you or someone you know is looking for a safe place to ask questions about faith, or if you want to learn more about the Bible and your place in God’s story, check out Discovering God. Come explore faith and experience community in this 10-week, conversational environment, which follows the Starting Point curriculum.
