In Week 2: Pastor shared with you about the importance of meditating on God’s Word so that we can turn our thinking from self focused to God-focused.
In Week 3: Pastor reminded you that God is still a God of miracles. He is still desires to reveal Himself to you, and set you free from bondage. That He is not done with you, but as you give Him control He will bring you to the place of victory.
In Week 4: Pastor Forrest shared that God is all-wise, and in His wisdom He will often choose to work in ways that we would have never thought. He challenged you to have the courage to obey God trusting that His ways are better, and that in victory make sure to give God the Glory. If we will heed God’s Word instead of trusting our own intellect, we will see victories and success.
Last Week 5: Pastor shared with you that God’s Desire for us is to make our life right with Him through repentance, confess your sin move forward, and continue on to victory for His kingdom.

Have you ever made a big decision without consulting appropriate people?
Big Idea of the Message: There is the potential for spiritual danger or unnecessary hurt in our life if we become over-confident in our experience and knowledge.
As we learn to become more God-Focused in our life and situation we will find that situations we face or even relationships are not always like we thought.

Application Point: God’s desire for our lives is good. But His desire for us will go unfulfilled if we don’t seek His Word to obtain wisdom and counsel. He doesn’t want to leave us where we are. Instead He desires to guide and lead us into our assignment and purpose.
In His wisdom He will work in ways we didn’t expect bringing about the miraculous. All as a plan to make our life right with Him so that we can do great things for His kingdom.
