John 6:1-15
1. Review of what the Signs and Wonders have taught us about who Jesus Is
a. Jesus is the Lord of Creation
b. Jesus is Lord over Time and Space
c. Jesus cares about people in their need
d. Jesus is not subject to the Laws of Men
e. Jesus can reverse the effects of sin
f. Jesus came to make us whole
2. These are the wonders that Jesus still preforms today
3. Jesus tests the faith of his disciples, so that our faith will grow
a. Jesus had a mixed multitude following Him
b. Jesus calls on His disciples to meet the need for food
c. The test of faith challenges us to reveal who or what we are trusting
4. When we can’t Jesus can
a. Even when the disciple’s faith failed, they still obeyed
b. Each one of the disciples filled a basket of Jesus’ abundance
5. The crowd had the wrong agenda
a. They wanted a political leader
b. They wanted an earthly provider
c. They wanted victory over Rome
6. Yes, Jesus is King, but His kingdom is not guided by our agenda
a. Respond to Him in repentance and obedience
b. Respond to Him by giving Him everything
7. When Jesus is your Lord you will have life in abundance
