Welcome to Worship

What a joy it is to be able to worship together each Sunday! Whether you’re physically present in the room, or you’re engaging with our online campus, we just want you to know that we love you, and we’re thrilled that you are worshiping with us!

We Would Love to Connect with You

Our Connection Cards are the easiest way for one of our pastors to reach out to you during the week. You can find a Connection Card by the tithing dropbox at the church or online.

Welcome Pastor Curtis Woods

Our church staff is filled with anticipation for Pastor Curtis and his family to begin their ministry here at Severns Valley. There are several ways you can be a blessing to them. 1) There are note cards available outside the Worship Center for you to write them a word of encouragement. If you like, you can share a gift card to one of your favorite restaurants or stores. 2) We encourage you to take a few minutes to go to Church Connect at the link below and upload a photo of you and your family. This will be a tremendous asset to help Pastor Curtis get to know our church family. 3) Please be in prayer for them as they make this transition and make sure you and your family have Nov. 1st on your calendar for his first week at Severns Valley!

Don't Forget to Save a Seat/Save a Spot

Don't forget to "Save a Seat" for yourself and others who desire to attend one of our two Worship Services. You can also "Save a Spot" for your children, birth through Second Grade in SVkids by going to our Re-Gathering page. We have a simple registration form to fill out to ensure that your child has a space in their assigned classes.

SV Students

Our Connect Live service is Sundays from 5:30 to 6:30 pm. Doors open at 5:15 pm. We ask that all students and leaders wear a mask the entire time. Chairs are spaced out at 6 ft for the students to sit safely away from one another while still being able to worship together. One last thing we need from your student(s) before they come to service is to print and fill out the COVID-19 liability form on our website You can bring the form with you when you come to service or email it to us at

Our first HymnSing was such a blessing!

Tuesday's Senior Adult Gathering had 77 in attendance at our first HymnSing. It was so exciting to be back together with our Senior Adults and to sing the great hymns of our faith. We want to thank our Worship Arts Team for their help in making this event possible. The good news is that if you weren't able to attend you can still view it on our Facebook page at and YouTube Channel at the link below. Maybe you know someone who would be blessed by sharing it.

Hometouch Ministry

Hometouch is a ministry to connect people who are unable to attend church in person. If you or someone you know would benefit from this ministry please email or call 270.765.7822. There are two ways that you can volunteer. 1) Adopt one of our members who are at home or in a Long Term care facility. You would reach out to them at least once a month by visiting, phoning or sending cards. 2) Doing small home projects for our elderly members.

CR Etown

CR is a place for everyone, where you can deal with the hurts, habits, and hang-ups of life. At CR, we are following the same regulations as we are following for our Sunday Worship Services: masks, social distancing and disinfecting guidelines are followed strictly. For more information, check out or head to Celebrate Recovery ETown on Facebook.

Small Groups

The best way to stay connected with our church family is by being involved in a Small Group. While our groups are still meeting Virtually, it is a great way to meet new people and when we are able, you can join your small group in person when they meet.

Continue to Pray

Please continue to pray for our national, state and local leaders, our Staff and Church Council, Pastor Curtis and his family, our church members, and those attending and watching our services who are new to SV. We are praying for you! Let us know if you need anything or if we can pray with you in any way. 🙏🏻

SV Updates

We hope you all are well and being safe in the current COVID-crisis. While our Small Groups are still meeting Virtually, our desire is for our On Campus and Off Campus Small Groups to begin meeting soon. Click the link for our latest updates.
