(John 10:10)

John 10:10 . . . The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that you may have life, and that you may have it more abundantly

I. A constitution reveals the King’s “Aspirations, Hopes, and Desires” for His citizens

The preamble to the Declaration of Independence:

When, in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands (we’re not the same) which have connected them with another, and to assume, among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the laws of nature and of nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation. (we have reasons)
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. That, to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. That, whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles, and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness.

The preamble to the Constitution of the United States:

WE THE PEOPLE of the United States, in order to form a more perfect Union (a focus on the Essentials), establish justice (Lawfulness), insure domestic tranquility (Civility), provide for the common defense (Citizenship), promote the general Welfare (Commonality), and secure the blessings of Liberty to ourselves and to our posterity (Continuation), do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

John 15:5 & 8 . . . “I am the vine; you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, Bears MUCH Fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. . . 8 By this My Father is glorified, that you bear MUCH fruit; so you will be My disciples. . .

John 15:16 . . . You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, so that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.

So I said, ‘Who are You, Lord?’ And He said, ‘I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. 16 But rise and stand on your feet; for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to make you a minister and a witness both of the things which you have seen and of the things which I will yet reveal to you. 17 I will deliver you from the Jewish people, as well as from the Gentiles, to whom I now send you, 18 to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.’
