Welcome to HCC! Here are this week's announcements.
This Sunday morning at HCC
Hudson has had a great few weeks of vacation, followed by two long weeks of quarantine and we are happy to have him back, and speaking to us from God's word this Sunday! Adi and her team will lead us in worship.

Seating availability
Seating is available on a first come, first served basis. We open our main doors at 10:00 and you're welcome to come any time after that to claim your spot, whether you prefer to be upstairs or downstairs. We seek to optimize the upstairs seating so we can fit as many people as possible in a safe socially distanced way. Children need to stay seated with their parents.

We'll have many more seats available in the basement which is a great place to bring younger children who might not like to sit still upstairs. Bring along your coffee for a casual Sunday Service with your church family.

Reminder about masks
When entering, standing and moving around the building we ask that you respect the government guidelines requiring facemasks. We also request that you wear your face covering while singing. We have been providing disposable masks to those who have forgotten their mask at home. Please help us save money by bringing your own mask!

The Church Library
The church library located in the basement will be open from 10-10:30 each Sunday. Everyone is welcome but space is limited and physical distancing will be required. The library will not be open after the service, so please come early!

HCC Kids - Sunday Morning
As we announced last Sunday, we're launching a modified version of our Sunday Morning Training Program (SMTP) for kids this week. We'll provide a link to a 5-6 minute Bible lesson video that your kids can watch and a worksheet that they can do during the message while remaining at the table with their parents. These worksheets will be available in the church basement, for families with preschool and elementary school aged children.

Once we are confident in our ability to keep children and volunteers safe, we will begin a gradual return to regular Sunday morning activities.

Join Us Online
Can't make it out to join us in person? We livestream our services on YouTube and we really think that you should subscribe, and click the bell so that you don't miss our videos when we go "Live". We start streaming between 10:15 and 10:30 on Sunday morning and we will do our best to finish by 11:45.

Fall Kickoff BBQ - **POSTPONED**

As you may have noticed, the weather forecast does not look good for today, for our Fall Kickoff BBQ. As such we've made the decision to postpone it until next Sunday, September 20th. All the other details remain the same. If you've already registered, you're still registered. If you haven't yet registered, please do that, so that we can adequately plan the event for next week.So here are the details again! We'll be getting together outdoors at Steve & Trudy McLean's place for a barbecue, some optional games, and a chance to sit back and relax. This will take place in the afternoon, following our church service next Sunday, September 20th. In the event of even more uncooperative weather, we will unfortunately have to cancel until a much later date. While we aren't inviting the whole town as we've done in the past, we'd love if you would invite a friend or two to join us.To help with our planning we'd really appreciate if you would register with your name and the number of people that you'll be bringing. Government restrictions in place limit us to a total of 250 people in attendance.

HCC Kids Club

For the time being, we will be holding off on starting Kids Club. We want to see how things go with kids at school and we don't want to offer activities that could pose a risk to your children or our volunteers.
Thanks for your patience as we seek to resume activities in a wise and timely manner.
In the meantime, check out this Bible App for Kids!

HCC Youth Group

Regular Youth Group meetings will resume on Thursday, September 17th. Get all the details on Facebook.

HCC Young Adults

HCC Young Adults is all about gathering together in community for a time of encouragement, studying of God's word, prayer & worship, & lots of coffee and snacks. They'll be starting up again on this Tuesday, September 15th in the church auditorium.

Ride For Refuge 2020

The "Covid" version of Ride for Refuge is happening now! Ellie Millard, Jodilynn Cote and Cathy Little are working on their individual goals (see their pic!). The biggest goal, though, is to raise $ for Listen to Learn Int'l. We are aiming for $4,000 but to date have received only $1,375. We need your help! 😲 Can you join the team or make a donation? If so, please contact Ellie or Cathy, or go directly to our team page via the attached link and make a donation there. Thanks!

Give Online

Today marks the final Sunday of our 2019-2020 fiscal year. We've finished the year in a very stable position, thanks to God's provision and your generosity.
