A. The historical situation
B. Three parts
C. Take a stand, let God lead
D. Trusting God’s direction (Don’t try to outthink God)

A. Difficult circumstances
B. Reversal of control
C. Not bound by the world’s actions
D. Let God worry about consequences
Jeremiah 17:7-8- "But blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit."
III. Third, Christians should exhibit a determination to share salvation through Christ.
A. Dogged determination
B. Why focused on evangelism?
Acts 1:8- But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
C. What is our focus?
IV. Fourth, Christians should exhibit a celebration in Christian suffering.
A. Remarkable reaction
