Celebrate Recovery One Year Celebration

Join us Saturday, April 7 beginning at 6:00PM at Victory Life Church for our One Year Celebration of Celebrate Recovery. Victory's Praise & Worship Team will be performing along with testimonies, a skit, and speakers.
CR is for anyone struggling with Hurts, Habits and/or Hang-ups. We meet every Tuesday from 6:30-8:00PM at Victory Life Church (1141 Lexington Road, Georgetown). It is not just about addictions (such as drugs and/or alcohol), it is about finding healing from anything that is keeping us from experiencing God’s best in our lives. It is about growth, getting healthy, and growing your relationship with Jesus Christ.
Whatever you’re struggling with: addiction, anger, drugs, alcohol, pornography, anxiety, depression, or any life issue CR can help.

Galatians 2:20 (NKJV) I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
Romans 8:29 (NKJV) For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.
I believe God is patiently waiting for saints that will acknowledge the fact that they are heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, and each of us have God ordained assignments that we will give an account of to our King.
2 Corinthians 5:9-10 (NKJV) Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.
The judgement seat of Christ will mark a distinct difference between the Christian who live for the Lord and the one who simply accepted His gift of grace.
The more transformed into His image we become here, the more impactful our life in Christ is while we’re here, but it also determines reward, as well as responsibility in our next dispensation.
Philippians 3:12-14 (NKJV) Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
What Paul wants us to understand, is that as beautiful and powerful as grace is, we can’t just ignore our responsibilities as a part of the body of Christ, or the calling that comes with it.
• would you say you’re practicing Jesus’ instructions?
Would you say you’re teachable?
Would you say your life is in alignment with the Kingdom of Heaven?
Matthew 25:1-13 (NKJV) Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight a cry was heard: Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him! Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said to the wise, Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out. But the wise answered, saying, No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut. Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us! But he answered and said, Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you. Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.
God is patiently waiting for the heirs of the Kingdom to acknowledge their assignment.
What do you think Jesus meant when He said, Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven?
