Chestnut Ridge Church
Seven - Part 6
One of Jesus’ closest friends, John, witnessed Jesus perform dozens, if not hundreds, of miracles. When he penned the Gospel of John, he only chose seven of them to highlight who Jesus was (and is!) and the difference he can make in our lives. Join us for this new series as we focus on how amazing Jesus is, and consider what he is capable of in our lives.

We have all experienced the sinking feeling associated with being lost. It’s a scary feeling. We reach out for something familiar or a sign to point the way. Often, it’s only when we realize we are lost that we are willing to ask for help. Jesus described our spiritual condition apart from him as being lost. This Easter, we will explore how Jesus is the destination for the lost.

Seven - Part 6 [March 18, 2018] Tim Haring

Problem: We are all born blind

Solution: True spiritual sight is found in Jesus

True spiritual sight is found in Jesus
True spiritual sight is found in Jesus
No one is so blind as he who will not see, the one who thinks he has “all truth” and there is nothing more for him to learn.
– Wiersbe

The only people who cannot see the light are blind people and those who refuse to look, those who make themselves blind
– Wiersbe

True spiritual sight is found in Jesus
We need spiritual sight in a variety of areas of our lives.
Sometimes we need to…

· See what direction God is leading us in

· See Jesus clearly in the midst of something difficult we are facing.

· See areas in our lives that need to change
