Worship Through Giving

We believe that God has called us to Exuberant Generosity because God is a God of giving (John 3:16). Exuberant Generosity takes on many shapes: time, talents & treasures. If you are a guest here, do not feel obligated to give, your being here is blessing enough to us. We believe that when we give we get to partner with God in the amazing work that he is already doing. As God gives to us, we give in return, and God multiplies our gifts to see the Kingdom of Heaven brought to earth. We thank you for partnering with God and trusting us to steward your offerings well - we promise, we do not take your generosity lightly. It all gets poured back into ministry and lives are changed and people are moving from death to life!

Missional Rhythms | Dr. Chris Dyer

“The church is missionary by nature because God through the Spirit calls, creates, and commissions the church to communicate to the world that the redemptive reign of God has broken into human history.” - Craig Van Gelder
“Mission (if it is biblically informed and validated) means our committed participation as God's people, at God's invitation and command, in God's own mission within the history of God's world for the redemption of God's creation." - Craig Van Gelder
“It’s not so much that God has a mission for his church in the world, but that God has a church for his mission in the world” - Christopher Wright
“God makes his gospel attractive through (his) people - that is the point of the gospel; it is trans-formative in nature.” - Gary Rohrmayer
Being a Christian is not only about being saved – it’s about bringing others to the dance!
Lori McDaniel - “Living on mission isn’t something that’s programmed; rather it’s the rhythm of living out the Gospel wherever we call home.”

I would say…“Living on mission includes a variety of rhythms that enable us to live out the Gospel wherever we are and through whatever we do.”
Missional Rhythms: We value being people who live, think, and act out the mission of God at all times, in all places, to all people. (Matt. 28:19-20; Jn. 17: 14-16, 20:21; Acts 1:8, 2:42-47, 13:1-3, 19:9-11)

Acts of the Apostles 17:16-34 NLT

Paul's Missional Rhythms:
➤He studied his environment.
➤His heart was always moved by the lostness of the people around him.
➤He went where he could find potential listeners.
➤He spoke in public places.
➤He found ways to meet people where they were in life.
➤He shared God’s love.
➤He talked about the resurrection.
➤He never tried to force people to believe.
➤And, he always made himself available.
Missional rhythms are conceived out of our loverelationship with God.
Our missional activities become more natural as we adopt a God-like perspective of people.
God desires for every person to be saved. Do we?
➤Missional rhythms are intentional before they become habitual.
Just as Christ was sent by God we are sent by Christ to live out His purposes for our lives and to help redeem and restore His lost creation. Thankfully, the Holy Spirit is sent to help us live out this mission. However, this journey of sentness requires uncompromising intentionality and the consistent pursuit of a life glued together by missional rhythms.
Missional rhythms are the intentional formation of personal and corporate practices through which we show the reign, power, presence, and redemptive nature of God.
➤Give God your mind.
➤Give him your eyes and ears.
➤Give him your hands and feet. Allow his mission to become your mission.
➤Begin today to look at people differently.
➤Intentionally form habits of blessing others.
➤Think of how you can alter your life to be with the unchurched.
➤Make plans to connect with people who need Jesus.
➤Habitually live the Jesus life so that people will see the transformative power of the Gospel.
Learn to dance to God’s song and invite others to the dance.
