This speaks of repairing the walls and gates of Jerusalem. They would do it with compassion, confidence, co-operation and courage.

This was the history period of the books of Ezra and Zerubbabel. Rebuilding the temple under Zerubbabel was 21 years, 6 years later Ezra brought 'revival' and 'prayer teaching on temple worship'.

Our discipleship process to build God's Kingdom is Win, Establish, Equip and Send.

A simple process of getting to know the basics and to equip to build God's Kingdom.

NB: You can establish a care group, a discipleship group, prayer group, etc.

We get trained so we will not get misled.

The 6 foundation stones in Heb. 6:

1. Repentance from dead works.
2. Faith towards God.
3. Five baptisms (into the body of Christ; water baptism by immersion; Holy Spirit baptism with the evidence of speaking in tongues; baptism of John the baptist [a baptism of repentance]; baptism of suffering [Luk 12:50].

4. Impartation through the laying on of hands.
5. Resurrection of the dead.
6. Eternal judgement. When they are laid we build upon them.

Now we are sent forth. Now we start building God's Kingdom with 4 things:

1. Compassion ('splanch nizomai' - in Greek). To be moved with compassion. Something of the compassion of the Holy Spirit rises up in you and gets released through you.

The word for driving out demons is the Greek 'ekballo'. Literally the Lord is saying - to drive out labors to bring in the great harvest. To draw laborers with force, yet not violence.

Compassion yield - released through you it heals.

The people are hungry - food is multiplied refers back to John 20:21.

I believe as we obey we will see food multiplied and people healed like a draw card into God's Kingdom.

Knowing God and knowing about God. Knowing God you will do exploits empowered by and through your union with the Lord.

Strong in the Lord and in His might. See Goliath - a physical giant but a spiritual wimp. David, a boy looking like a wimp beats up the giant.

Isaac Watts, a preacher - only 1.52 meters tall yet he wrote 750 hymns. He was a spiritual giant

Samson kills 1 000 Philistines with a jawbone of a donkey.

Confidence will make everything easier, relationships, work, you will perform better.

You will be a 'fisher of men'.

Co-operation: Co-workers of a Wonder-worker. Co-operation is an action process of working together under the power of the Holy Spirit.

Courage is the ability to do something which scares you. Courage and bravery gives you the strength to face sadness and pain. Courage is the quality of thoughts and the spirit that can enable you to do something without fear.

In closing: Nothing that you do for the Lord is in vain.

My challenge to you: Let us stand up and build God's Kingdom with compassion, trust, co-operation and courage.
