Chestnut Ridge Church
Beyond - Part 3
Over the past 30 years, God has accomplished amazing things through Chestnut Ridge Church, but what might He want to accomplish in the days ahead? What opportunities do we have to impact this city, state or nation for Christ? Beyond is a new and visionary series, examining the challenges and opportunities we have before us. We'll talk about where we feel God is leading us as a church and what part each of us may be able to play. The key verse for Beyond is Ephesians 3:20-21: " Him who is able to do above and beyond all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us—to Him be glory..." It's time to go beyond where we've become more.

Beyond - Part 3 [October 22, 2017] Kevin Deming

Serving others starts with the heart
Beyond is an eternal investment for more people to come to know Jesus.
The first week:
We want to be an inviting church for those who are turning to God.
Last week:
To invest in our next generation is to invest in our future.
This week:
Beyond is a strategic investment allowing us to serve our community.
Energizing the mandate to “go” and “make disciples” by expanding current partnerships, developing new relationships, and providing for the spiritual and physical needs of those in our community, state, region and world.
Serving others starts with the heart

“The religious officials of the day, instead of helping the widows in need, were perfectly content to rob them of their livelihood and inheritance. The system was corrupt, and the darkness of the scribes’ greed makes the widow’s sacrifice shine even more brightly.”
