Chestnut Ridge Church
Beyond - Part 2
Over the past 30 years, God has accomplished amazing things through Chestnut Ridge Church, but what might He want to accomplish in the days ahead? What opportunities do we have to impact this city, state or nation for Christ? Beyond is a new and visionary series, examining the challenges and opportunities we have before us. We'll talk about where we feel God is leading us as a church and what part each of us may be able to play. The key verse for Beyond is Ephesians 3:20-21: " Him who is able to do above and beyond all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us—to Him be glory..." It's time to go beyond where we've become more.

Beyond - Part 2 [October 15, 2017] Kevin Deming

Beyond is a generational investment in our future and the next generation.

To be an inviting church for those who are turning to God.
Beyond is a generational investment as we focus on the next generation.
To invest in our next generation is to invest in our future.
“It is always impossible to lay blame neatly when one generation fails to pass its faith on to the next one. Did the first generation fail to reach out, or did the second generation just harden their hearts? The answer is usually both. Mistakes made by a Christian generation are often magnified in the next, nominal one. Commitment is replaced by complacency and then by compromise.”
Tim Keller
We want to go BEYOND by building an even greater investment in the next generation of children and students by providing opportunities for the church to purposefully engage with them,by inviting their friends, and by making a difference in their lives.

Start at home
Make a difference by serving
Be generous for the next generation
Cover the next generation with prayer
To invest in our next generation is to invest in our future.
