Title: A Life That Worships Everywhere
Integrity: We all struggle with living lives of wholeness, integrity, honesty, and consistency. Do you agree or disagree?
If you agree - where in your life is this a struggle?
How would you define worship?
Worship cannot be a vaccination:
Discuss what is meant by this and how you see this lived out in churches? What are the strengths and weaknesses of this misunderstanding? How have you seen this in your own life or in the life of our church?
Worship cannot be a hobby:
When in your life are you least likely to consider or be aware of God’s presence? Asked another way: what things do you tend to think God is not apart of?
Worship cannot just be about today:
“We often try to separate our private spiritual lives against our public vocational lives. But this severing does actually exist. We fail to see that the way they live our lives, perform our jobs, manage our households, and interact with our neighbors is all to be an act of worship to God.”
If this is new to you - discuss whether you agree or disagree and why?
If this is old hat for you - discuss how you try and remind yourself of this throughout your day so that you can live this out.
Read Ephesians 2:8-10:
Discuss the relevance of this verse to Sunday’s sermon.
Discuss how this gives some application moving forward in our week
Prayer: Pray as you are led
