Text: Jeremiah 1:11-19
Title: A Life of Vision
General question: What was your biggest takeaway from the sermon this Sunday?
Calling: Spend time talking about your calling or area of influence?
Promise: Just like the “almond branch” what are ways you remind yourself of the presence and promises of God amidst your calling?
Doubts: what are the places you look to for comfort when you doubt your calling?
Ideas: distraction (screen time); workaholism/ escape/ cynicism
Right our Wrongs: We learn from the boiling pot that God will one day right our wrongs. That God will fix some of the broken injustices of our world. What is something you want fixed among your sphere of influence?
Fears: When you don’t look to God where do you look to fix the brokenness of this world?
Ideas: politics; money; withdrawal
Rescue: God rescues Jeremiah, not by taking him away from what is difficult, but by helping sustain Jeremiah. Where do you need to be rescued (sustained) amidst your sphere of influence?
Prayer: spend time praying for one another amidst the difficulties mentioned above.
