Can You Imagine?

What if you refused to change, or learn, or grow as a person? What would your life look like in a day? Month? Year? Decade?
Power Granted and Promises Given

Peter reminds us that God gives us the power, through His Holy Spirit, to be the people He’s commanded us to be. Have you accepted this power and promise?
Imparted God-Power = Faith

Our journey to become like Jesus begins with faith, participation in the nature of God – Our receptivity to God’s activity. How does it change things to rely on God’s power and not on our own?
Producing Goodness

Goodness here means an innate moral excellence. Who do you know who displays this quality? What would it look like if the Holy Spirit manifested goodness in YOUR life?

Hurricane Relief - UMCOR

Texas and Louisiana have been hit hard by Hurricane Harvey. Please pray for those who have been directly affected by this disaster and for those who are first responders. The United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) is actively preparing to provide assistance to those who need it most. The immediate need is for financial relief. There will be significant long term needs caused by this major event.

If you wish to make a financial contribution to the relief efforts, you can donate by writing a check to MUMC and writing in the memo line, “UMCOR US Disaster Response Advance #901670”. Because of our support of the UMC, 100% of your offering will go toward relief.

Text Giving (credit card): Simply text 440-210-9089 with the $dollar amount UMCOR. (ex: $20 UMCOR) A link will be sent right back to you. Click the link, fill out the registration and donate by credit card. You will receive verification by text and email. For future giving simply text the amount you want to give, verify and receive a receipt. We hope you find this option convenient!
