Psalm 147:1-5
King of My Heart
Let the King of my heart
Be the mountain where I run the fountain I drink from
Oh He is my song
Let the King of my heart be the shadow where I hide
The ransom for my life, Oh He is my song

You are good good oh
You are good good oh

Let the King of my heart be the wind inside my sails
The anchor in the waves, Oh He is my song
Let the King of my heart be the fire inside my veins
The echo of my days, Oh He is my song

You are good good oh
You are good good oh
You are good good oh
You are good good oh

You're never gonna let, never gonna let me down
(Repeat 3 more times)

You are good good oh
You are good good oh
You are good good oh
You are good good oh

When the night is holding on to me, God is holding on
When the night is holding on to me, God is holding on

O Come to the Altar
Are you hurting and broken within
Overwhelmed by the weight of your sin
Jesus is calling
Have you come to the end of yourself
Do you thirst for a drink from the well
Jesus is calling

Chorus: O come to the altar
The Father's arms are open wide
Forgiveness was bought with
The precious blood of Jesus Christ

Leave behind your regrets and mistakes
Come today there's no reason to wait
Jesus is calling
Bring your sorrows and trade them for joy
From the ashes a new life is born
Jesus is calling (Chorus)

Oh what a Savior! Isn't he wonderful?
Sing alleluia Christ is risen
Bow down before him. For he is Lord of all.
Sing alleluia Christ is risen (Chorus)

Communion

Bear your cross as you wait for the crown
Tell the world of the treasure you've found

Jesus Thank You
The myst’ry of the cross I cannot comprehend
The agonies of Calvary
You the perfect Holy One crushed Your Son
Who drank the bitter cup reserved for me

Chorus: Your blood has washed away my sin
Jesus thank You
The Father's wrath completely satisfied
Jesus thank You
Once Your enemy now seated at Your table
Jesus thank You

By Your perfect sacrifice I've been brought near
Your enemy You've made Your friend
Pouring out the riches of Your glorious grace
Your mercy and Your kindness know no end (Chorus)

Lover of my soul I want to live for You
(4 X's then Chorus)

Children's Message, Jen Briner
Message: A Precious Promise from Jesus, Rick Negley

I Refuse
Sometimes I, I just want to close my eyes
And act like everyone's alright when I know they're not
This world needs God but it's easier to stand and watch
I could say a prayer and just move on like nothing's wrong
But I refuse

Chorus: 'Cause I don't wanna live like I don't care
I don't wanna say another empty prayer
Oh I refuse to sit around and wait for someone else
To do what God has called me to do myself
Oh I could choose not to move but I refuse

I can hear the least of these crying out so desp’rately
And I know we are the hands and feet of You, oh God
So if You say move it's time for me to follow through
And do what I was made to do, and show them who You are
(Chorus)

To stand and watch the weary and lost cry out for help
I refuse to turn my back and try and act like all is well
I refuse, to stay unchanged to wait another day to die to myself
I refuse to make one more excuse (Chorus)

Blessing, Rick Negley

The Lord bless you and keep you;
the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you;
the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.
May the Lord give you his heart for the north side.
May he empower you to show his heart to the north side.
Pray Today!

You are invited to join Emily for a 15 minute Prayer Circle next to the Prayer Garden following worship. We will be wearing masks and staying socially distanced.

We may feel impotent in the face of all that is going on in the world today, but we are not impotent...we as the church have many great weapons at our disposal and prayer is not the least of them. Prayer is not passive; it is the great act of engaging God regarding our circumstances. Revelations 8 says there was silence in heaven for half an hour as the prayers of the saints came before His throne and the response to those prayers was hurled back upon the earth with "peals of thunder, loud rumblings, flashes of lightning and an earthquake" (Revelations 8:3-5)
