Confessions of a Parent

Today’s Sermon Summary:
Parenting must start with a confession: I have no idea what I’m doing and I need supernatural help! Parenting is one of the hardest, joy-filled, stressful, beautiful, messy, blessing of being human. There is nothing greater than being called to help form a child’s soul in understanding of our Creator. However, as Christ-followers, we must confess our inadequacies as parents and rely on God’s strength and wisdom. Parenting starts with the acknowledgment of our imperfection and inability to raise our children on our own. When we acknowledge our weakness, and allow God to lead our families, we will see that He will give us all the tools we need to be godly parents.
