Title: Take His Yoke
Speaker: Gabe Coyle, GabeC@ChristCommunityKC.org

WHAT KEEPS US OUT?
Do you think you’ve got it figured out or do you have far to go?
When you hear Jesus’ invitation, what are you hoping to find?
"The perceived distance and difficulty of entering fully into the divine world and its life is due entirely to our failure to understand that “the way in” is the way of pervasive inner transformation and to our failure to take the small steps that quietly and certainly lead to it."
- Dallas Willard, Renovation of the Heart
1. Repent of what keeps you out.
2. Focus on who invites you in.
CONVERSATION STARTERS – Downtown Campus

ICE BREAKER: Think about the past month? Do you feel tired or heavy laden?
IDENTIFYING HABITS: Where do you go or what do you do when life gets too hard or too heavy?
ASKING FOR HELP: How would you assess your willingness to seek assistance from others? Do you get frustrated when others try to help you?
LOOKING BACK: In this week’s sermon, Gabe asked “When you hear Jesus’s invitation to rest, what are you hoping to find?” How would you answer that question?
LOOKING FORWARD: This next week, how will you “surrender your wants for His wants.”What steps will you take to embrace Jesus’s invitation to rest?
