Remember to Pray…that Emily C. will make progress in her recovery from injuries sustained in a car accident on July 6…for Hunter C. as he continues to recover from his injuries…that Carole Z. will continue her recovery from eye surgery even as she prepares for surgery on her other eye on August 3…for Darlene R. as doctors continue to check her for blood clots in her arm…for our residents in nursing care and assisted living facilities…for church and school leadership as they continue to make preparations for the fall…for our nation and its leaders……for our missionaries serving overseas.

The shower will be held at DCC and is being hosted by Amanda P, Carly C. and Mary H. Please RSVP to Amanda or Mary (check the church bulletin, directory, or contact the office for their cell numbers). Social distancing will be observed if desired. Feel free to wear a mask. The B's are registered at Target and Amazon. Instead of a card, please write a note in your favorite book for their family to enjoy.

Pastor Neal will be on vacation. If you have a special need, plese contact one of the DCC Elders (Steve E, Dennis B, or Daniel G).

We hope you'll join us for some conversation, prayer, and encouragement at the home of Ava H (reach out to Ava, check the directory, or contact the church office for her address). Light snacks will be available as well as plenty of hand sanitizer. We'll be sitting outside, so please bring your own lawn chair.

In the Worship Service, Jimmie Cook, an Elder at the Fisher Community Church, will bring the message in Pastor Neal’s absence.

Blessing of the Backpacks: All of our DCC students (preschool-high school, home school and public school) are invited to bring their backpacks with them to the worship service on Sunday, August 16 as we seek God’s blessing up them (the students, not the backpacks!) as they enter into the new school year.)
