God Never Said That: It Doesn't Matter What You Believe
So many people wrongly believe this. You may have heard it. You may have said it. You may even believe it. All over the world today, people say this. It does not matter what you believe as long as you believe. Just believing in some higher power or object is futile. The object of your faith, Who you believe in, is what validates your faith. If you believe we are made right with God by placing our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who gave His life so all the world may be saved, then that is all that matters. “It doesn’t matter what you believe as long as you believe”—but God never said that.

Faith, like belief, needs an object.

The object of faith is what validates your faith.
We need to know what we believe and why we believe it before we can proclaim it.
1. Passive Faith or Active Faith

The hinge upon which the door of Truth hangs is the Resurrection of Jesus.
If you affirm that Christ is the only way back to God – you are saved.

'Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.’
