Why is the cross Christianity's most enduring symbol?
A– It is the place where God's intervention on man's behalf is most clearly evidenced.
Luke 9:18-25 NKJV
His cross must be in clear view for our cross to make sense.
Some sacrifice selfishly for the good of others...
1. To be well thought of
2. To improve self-worth
3. To offset bad deeds
4. To get something in return
The closer we get to His cross the more sacrificial our lifestyle.
In Conclusion:
Have you considered HIS cross?
Have you considered YOUR cross?
How much is enough?
Christians are called to live sacrificial lives for the sake of Jesus Christ and His mission.
