The storm arose even though:
• They served.
• Jesus prayed.
• They obeyed.

We can face each trial BELIEVING GOD ORDAINED IT or WONDERING WHERE HE IS WHILE IN IT.
When facing the storm remember what He has said to you and done in and through you!

Why didn't Peter ask Him to calm the storm?
Why did Peter ask Him to command him to walk on the water?
Peter knew that drawing closer to Jesus is the best thing we can do when facing the storms of life!

Peter began to sink when he looked at his circumstances instead of Christ!
Circumstance =
A condition that accompanies, determines, or modifies a fact or event.
Challenging Circumstances provide opportunities for us to:
1. Exercise our faith
2. Demonstrate our devotion
Doubt leads to idolizing our circumstances or magnifying Christ!

How should you respond?
We are not clinging to promises, we are clinging to a person!
