Psalm 16, Acts 2

Therefore my heart is glad, and my whole being rejoices; my flesh also dwells secure. For you will not abandon my soul to Sheol, or let your holy one see corruption.

You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore. Psalm 16.9-11 (ESV)

Hope infuses courage – trusting what God has prepared for his people equips us to deal with our temporary struggles.

No matter where we find ourselves, as believers, we pitch our tents in the land of hope.

Our hope of a life beyond this one isn’t a wishful, fingers-crossed, kind of thing, it is a reality based on a resurrection – and this hope is at the center of our faith.
