1. God has a beautiful vision for all creation.
2. God sent Jesus to help us find our way into the vision.
3. Jesus helps us by calling us to the work of this beautiful kingdom He is building.
4. Our job is to listen for the “Call” and to respond by following Jesus.
5. The “Call” is ALWAYS a call to new life!
6. The “Call” ALWAYS changes our life!
7. The “Call” is ALWAYS to a more abundant/eternal life!
Have you heard your “Call”? If you have , please take time and pray for God to give you the courage and humility to remain faithful to it. If you have not heard your “Call”, then please take time to prayerfully listen for it. Be patient and open. Be sure to stay in prayer, because God sometimes “Calls” us to new places. If you need help in discerning your “Call”, please call the office and make an appointment with Scot or Steve.
Core Values of HERITAGE

Always be eager to practice hospitality (Romans 12:13).
Intentionally reaching out to welcome and embrace others into the life of our congregation

Evangelical Beliefs
Defend the faith that God has entrusted once for all time to his holy people (Jude 1:3).
We hold the Bible as our authority for faith and practice and believe the doctrines of the Apostle’s Creed.

Reaching Out in Mission
Go and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19).
Mission begins at home and extends to all the world. We are called to fulfill the Great Commission of Christ by intentionally seeking to spread the Good News of Christ.

Intentional Discipleship
The things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others
(2 Timothy 2:2).
We seek to build fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ through teaching, serving, and worship. Our call is to make disciples who know their beliefs and live Christ-like lives.

The Family
Impress God’s commands on your children. Talk about them when you’re at home or away, when you lie down or get up (Deuteronomy 6:7).
The family is key to God’s plan. We value ministry to children, youth, and adults. We seek to build strong marriages, strong families, and a strong church to minister to married and single alike.

Authentic Worship
God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth (John 4:24).
Worship is how we weekly acknowledge the Holiness and greatness of God. Whether the format is traditional or contemporary, our goal is to help people truly worship God each week.

God loves a person who gives cheerfully (2 Corinthians 9:7).
We seek to reflect the extravagant and generous love of God through our actions as a church. We express God’s love through kind words, helpful deeds, service to others, and monetary sacrifice, as we seek to participate in building God’s Kingdom on Earth.

Everyone in Ministry
As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love
(Ephesians 4:16).
God calls every believer to find their meaningful ministry. Helping people find their place of service is a vital part of who we are as a church that makes disciples for Jesus Christ.
