The ROAD we choose determines the DESTINATION we reach.

Community Group Notes
For the week of December 3, 2016
(Questions and Scriptures for further personal study)

This weekend Mike mentioned there are many reasons why our prayers are hindered or go unanswered by God. The list below contains 12 different reasons. Read through each verse and match it with the corresponding reason.

Proverbs 21:13 Pray to be heard by others
1 Peter 3:7 Spiritual Pride
1 John 5:13 Lack of Persistence
Proverbs 28:9 Lack of Faith
James 4:3-4 Refuse to forgive
Luke 18:1-8 Refuse to obey God's commands
Psalm 66:18 Have the wrong value system
Matthews 5:23-24 Fail to show compassion to the poor
Luke 8:9-14 Fail to have godly home life
Mark 11:25 Refuse to let go or confess known sin
Matthew 6:5 Ask for things outside of God's will
Mark 11:23-24 Refuse to right a wrong we committed

Can you identify any of the hindrances above you’ve had victory in when it comes to your prayer life? Are there one or two prayer hindrances you’d like to work on in order to “clear up the line to God”? Take some time and talk to God about it.
