Beyond Sunday
Discovering God's plan for our lives can be frustrating, but it doesn't have to be. As your Father, God wants you to know His will for your life. This week, we kick off our Imagine Series, by focusing on how God gives sight, so we can see His plans for us.
1. Do you believe God has a plan for your life? Or not? When did you first hear of this concept?
2. What are these passages telling us about spiritual blindness and God? Matthew 5:14, Luke 4:18, 2 Corinthians 4:4, Revelation 3:17
3. Reflect on Mark 8:22-26. What stands out to you in the passage? How is the relationship between Jesus and the blind man similar to any man or woman’s relationship with Jesus?
4. How does Romans 12:1-2 relate to understanding and seeking the will of God? What hinders us from seeing His will? What heals our blindness when seeking His will?
5. In your previous decisions in life, in what ways has God given you sight to see His way? What does Jeremiah 6:16 say about how to discover God’s way when we are at a crossroads in life?
6. In what area of your life (career, finances, health, relationships) do you need sight to discern the will of God. Beside asking for Him to lead you, review the 4 Fold Leadings of Jesus (see below in resources)? Which have been made clear to you? How could you seek out the other ones?
