CONNECT:
1. How would you define what it means to be a person of integrity? Read Psalm 78:2.

2. Read Proverbs 24:10 & Jeremiah 12:5. Describe a time in your life when your integrity was tested by adversity. How did you come through it?

3. Read Proverbs 27:21. Describe a time when your integrity was tested by prosperity. How did you come through it?
ENGAGE:
4. Read Daniel 6:1-28 and then answer the following questions...

a) How would you describe Daniel’s integrity? (see vv. 1-4)

b) What caused the conspiracy against Daniel to take place? (see vv. 4-9) Has this ever happened to you? Why?

c) How did Daniel respond to this test of his integrity? Why? (see vv. 10-13)

d) How would you describe the dilemma of King Darius? Why is he so upset? (see vv. 14-20)

e) What is so incredible about Daniel’s miraculous deliverance? (see vv. 21-23) Read Hebrews 11:6.

f) Describe what happens to Daniel’s conspirators. (see v. 24) What can we learn from this? Read Psalm 7:15.
APPLY:
5. The truth is, God does not always deliver us from the trial, but rather He promises to go with us through it. Discuss what this means to you. Read Romans 8:35-39.

6. Read James 1:2-4, 12 and Job 23:10. What do these passages tell us about the lessons that come out of adversity?

7. Read Daniel 6:23, 25-28. What do these passages tell us about the importance of passing the test of prosperity?
