TAKEAWAY: Daniel in the lion’s den is a familiar story to many of you, did anything new stick out this time?

REFLECTING: Andrew said that life often gets harder as you get older. In what way have you found this to be true?

DRAWING CONNECTIONS: This story of Daniel’s life exhibits a character and lifestyle we have seen since chapter one. In these first six chapters what are some consistent ways Daniel lived?

LIVING IT OUT: We heard that prayer is an act of giving up control, not taking it. Why is that so key to Daniel’s life and ours? What does it look like in our lives?

ASSESSING HABITS: We see that Daniel had a pattern of praying three times a day, facing Jerusalem. What are habits and practices of prayer we can employ?

PRAYER: Reflect Daniel’s consistent life of prayer, found Daniel 6:10, as you go into a time of prayer together.
