What are you thinking?
What are you thinking? Are your thoughts ones that lead towards peace or anxiety and fear? Are your thoughts ones that lead to self-worth or self-loathing? Do they lead to hope or to despair?

What are you thinking?
Today we want to invite you to ask yourself that question. What are you thinking? This is an opportunity to take stock of your thought life? Where are your thoughts leading you? What characterises your thoughts lately?

Choosing your thoughts.
The Apostle Paul encourages us to "Think about such things." We will get to talking about the kinds of things he encourages us to think about soon. But first we need to understand that we are meant to take responsibility for choosing our thoughts.

Do you choose your thoughts or do they happen to you?
Take every thought captive
Elsewhere the Apostle Paul wrote about taking every thought captive and making it obedient to Jesus. That means bringing every thought into compliance and alignment with Jesus.

What have you been thinking lately that doesn't align with Jesus?
Think about such things
What kind of things should we target our thinking towards? Whatever is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent and praiseworthy.
Renewing our Mind
The scriptures talk about those who follow Jesus being transformed into his image. A significant aspect of that is is the renewing of our mind.
