Questions About the Sermon or Anything Else?
Text them to (307) 316-2023 and we will address them in our Tuesday Q&A Facebook Live video on Tuesdays at 11:15. The texts are anonymous to us and the public.
Paul reminded Timothy of the one thing he needed in the midst of his ministry: to be strong through the grace that God had given him through Jesus Christ. Timothy was struggling in his role, so Paul pointed Timothy to look to the examples of the soldier, the athlete and the farmer. Each of these points ultimately to Christ, and Christ has returned from the dead. Remember what God has given to YOU.
Additional Questions for Your Family, Small Group or in a Bible Study
In what ways have you seen the phrase, “Faith is free, following is costly” in your own life?

Why does Paul tell Timothy to be strong in the grace God gave him? How is this different than relying on your own strength?

Paul talks about the soldier, athlete, and farmer, then tells Timothy to think about them and their meaning. Why do you think Paul used these examples? With which do you most identify? Why?

How have you had to “embrace the suck” during this time?
