Who Is the Holy Spirit?Näide

Good News: God Is with You!
But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all thingsand will remind you of everything I have said to you.
John 14:26 (NIV)
I’m so glad you have chosen to take part in this study! For the next five days, we’re going to get to know the Holy Spirit and the powerful ways He works in our lives. As we begin, I want you to know that God sees you, He loves you, and He is concerned about every detail of your life. There’s nothing that escapes His notice! And as we discuss the amazing power and presence of the Holy Spirit, I believe it can be life-changing for you. So, let’s dive in…
Who is the Holy Spirit? The Bible tells us that God is three Persons in One: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (1 John 5:7). When we accept Jesus Christ as our Savior and begin a relationship with Him, the Holy Spirit comes to dwell inside of us—God literally gives each one of us a little piece of Himself (Acts 1:8)!
You see, God knows we need help to walk out the good plan He has for us…and He has not left us alone to figure things out. He has given us His Spirit—the Holy Spirit—to help us through ALL of life’s twists and turns.
Today’s scripture refers to the Holy Spirit as our “Advocate,” and He does far more for us than we may realize. In the Amplified translation, He is called our Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby). So, what does this mean? It means that all of God’s power, strength, comfort, creativity, help, and direction are available to us through the Holy Spirit, Who knows exactly what needs to be done in our lives at just the right time.
Look at what Jesus said to His disciples about the Holy Spirit: “But when He, the Spirit of Truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth [full and complete truth]. For He will not speak on His own initiative, but He will speak whatever He hears [from the Father—the message regarding the Son], and He will disclose to you what is to come [in the future]” (John 16:13 AMP).
The Holy Spirit wants to “guide you into all the truth.” And it’s not just about the big stuff. He wants to help guide you in every little detail of your life. When we encounter various situations in life that require His wisdom and direction, the Holy Spirit will help remind us of what God’s Word says to do. You can trust Him to lead you and help you make the best decision possible.
We have a tremendous privilege as believers in Christ—we have a Father Who wants to communicate with us all the time about everything that concerns us. But that doesn’t mean He expects us to spend every minute of the day on our knees in prayer. What it does mean is that He wants to have an ongoing conversation with us as we go about our day.
So, the next time life gets difficult or you’re feeling overwhelmed, I encourage you to take a moment to stop and ask the Holy Spirit to help you right in the middle of it. No matter how big or small your situation may feel, He’s there to guide you through it…He’s just waiting for you to ask!

Let’s Pray: “Father, thank You for sending Your Holy Spirit to live within me, to remind me of Jesus’ Word and make His ways a part of my daily life. Because You are with me, I never have to feel alone or helpless in any situation. Whether I need a comforter, counselor, an intercessor, or someone to stand by my side, You are always here for me. Help that truth sink in further with every breath that I take, because I want to know it way down deep. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
Thought for the Day:
You’re never alone with a problem because the Holy Spirit is always with you.
