The Breath of LentNäide

Do you believe this scripture? Do you believe that you will be clean when the Lord cleanses you? Whiter than snow? The Lord is in the business of cleansing, setting free, and making our cleansing process so thorough that we end up cleaner than we ever began. Sometimes, it can be hard to believe that we will truly be made clean, that our mistakes will be wiped away, and that the Lord will not keep a tally of our shortcomings. But He is in the business of redemption, cleansing, and setting free. What results from the cleansing the Lord provides? Joy! Gladness! Rejoicing!

Today, as you breathe through your prayer, take a moment to allow yourself to feel the joy and gladness that results from being cleansed.

Inhale: Create in me a pure heart, O God
