Have you been working to earn your salvation? The choice presented in today's scripture is one of self-awareness, realizing that there is nothing you can do to earn your place seated next to Christ. The choice you can make is to accept the available grace. There is a place for you, a seat in the heavenly realm with your name on it. But you must choose to receive grace and let go of the idea that you can serve, work, or earn your way there. It is a gift. The scripture for today declares that “You were created to do good works.” But your good works will not be what saves you. Lean into the grace of God today. Choose to rest in His promise of his salvation.
